From Paper to the Big Screen...

Hey guys!
So, this post today will basically just be about the amazing YA books-to-be-movies, some coming out this year, some maybe not until a little while.

1) I'm sure you've all heard about: HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2!!!!
2) And of course, the ever-popular BREAKING DAWN PART 1 in the Twilight Saga. Reasons for my questionable excitement for this particular movie are explained further in this post.
3) THE HUNGER GAMES!!!!!! 'nuff said.
4) Annddd… THE CITY OF BONES has finally casted JACE and can move on to casting other characters, thereby moving forward in their production. <3.

Beginning with NUMBER ONE on my list: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, written by the brilliant and amazing British author JK Rowling – who began the Harry Potter series when her first book came out in 1995 – is concluding on the big screen as the final movie, Part 2, comes out THIS SUMMER on July 15th. Fans are excited and sad, as seen from multiple Tumblr and Facebook sources:
This is the actual recap of what happened after Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) filmed their last Harry Potter scene together.

Over the years. Look at how much time has passed!
It's a very sad moment indeed. However, Harry Potter will always be known for its awesomeness around the world for generations to come. You can count on that!

NUMBER TWO. Now, I know there are a lot of haters about this particular series, for both the movies AND the books. Even I admit that I have my complaints, too; I LOVED the books, but hated the movies. They didn’t cast the right people for my imaginary Edward and Bella, and after the movies came out, I began critiquing author Stephenie Meyer’s writing style and the book plots. HOWEVER, we all have to realize that people all have different views; whether they’re “good” actors or “good” books, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. People simply need to learn to be mature and keep their harsh comments to themselves. If they don’t like it, don’t spend money and time complaining about it!
Anyways, I'm VERY excited for Breaking Dawn, Part 1 of The Twilight Saga to come out on the big screen because I'm not gonna lie, those picture teasers on The International Movie Database are AWESOME!!

NUMERO TROIS. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY EPIC STORY. If you have not read the trilogy already, I highly recommend you go read it. NOW. And this intense novel is also coming out on the BIG SCREEN with the following actors and actresses:

Since this movie is still in its production processes (I’m not even sure if they’ve started filming yet), the movie’s not going to come out for a little while. But I am certainly really hyped up for this movie because the book was freaking ADDICTING!! =D
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And FINALLY, NUMBER FOUR: Cassandra Clare’s brilliant Mortal Instruments Series has its first installment hitting the big screen as the two main characters were casted!
INTRODUCING:
 LILY COLLINS as Clary Fray!
Anddd….
 JAMIE CAMPBELL-BOWER as Jace Wayland!!
If you have read my City of Fallen Angels blog post here, you will know just how excited I am about this movie. I absolutely LOVE The Mortal Instruments and Jace is THE ABSOLUTE MALE HOTTIE AND INCARNATION OF SEXINESS. Seriously! And Jamie fits the role exceptionally; he just needs to clean up and gains some muscles ;D. Again, this City of Bones movie will not come out anytime soon as they [the producers] still have to cast the rest of the characters and start filming… But when that happens, I will be the first one in the theatre. Just saying.

So, ‘tis an epic season of books-to-movies. And I am excited. Are you? =D
